A delicate patterned obi

The obi was in very good condition. I am very pleased with my purchase. I have bought a number of obis and they arrived promptly and in good order,

Obi is a future heirloom

I adore this charming silk obi! It's beautifully made and in great condition. There aren't any fold/usage marks or stains. It's cute, yet looks elegant. It's ideal for making a beautiful obi tie with a makura. It's long enough to make the bunny ears that precociously peek up from the right corner. I love the richness of the yellow-gold color. It's surprisingly easy to tie - it's my first fukuro obi. I struggled at first with the hanhaba obi, so I thought the fukuro would be more difficult to tie. Imagine my surprise when I discovered that it stayed together and could bear the pulling and tightening because of the high quality material and thickness of the fabric. It didn't hurt that there are all those extra pieces of flair with the obijime and obiagi to keep everything in place ;)! The most exciting part of this purchase is that it's already a part of the small collection of items I plan to give to my children as family heirlooms. I was orphaned as an infant and have no family heirlooms except for the ones I buy now and save for later. I'm so happy to have the chance to collect and pass on items of beauty and happy memories. Thank you, Kimono Yukata Sakura Market! It's a joy to wear, dance in, and share the kimonos and all the accoutrements.
