On my search for genuine Japanese Uchikake, I stumbled over this webshop. The different Uchikake displayed here caught my attention and soon I placed my order. The express (& insured) delivery was as expected, just German customs asked for additional declaration (of origin) of the goods delivered by the seller. After a few E-mails with some explanations (correct invoice), I got from Mr. Mishima what German customs wanted. Means a refund of over 150,- Euros! The Uchikake is truly of excellent quality, though it's an used item, and shows almost no wear and no damages at all, as with many other Uchikake you'll find on the web. Price was reasonable. Arrived very quickly!! I’m seriously AMAZED at the quality and beauty of these authentic kimonos; I’m so sooo in love!! I bought a men’s kimono and hakama set for my fiancé, and I also purchased an irouchikake and furisode for our wedding in the fall (plus a bunch of other accessories). I’m so thankful for this site, as I’m able to buy my own pieces for a reasonable cost, instead of renting or shelling out thousands to buy wedding kimonos. I will definitely purchase again and recommend to friends in the future! Looking forward to learning how to wear it :)
